Introduction

My name is Parker. I currently go to Oregon State University and Linn Benton Community College, pursuing my bachelor's degree in marketing with a minor in applied journalism. I enrolled in BA 223, not only because it was required for my degree, but I also wanted to know more about marketing as a whole. 

I try me best to balance my free time, when not in class or working, however I find it hard to do with classwork and collegiate athletics. For the past 4 years, I have been a member of the Oregon State cheerleading team. Cheering is something that always stood out to me when I was going though my adolescence, trying to determine if any athletics was calling my name. Over the years, it has brought so much joy, and many different opportunities into my life that I never would never think would be possible. 

Outside of academics, I have a passion for photography. I originally picked this up as an elective in high school but quickly fell in love with the art style. I often refer to my own work and editing style as 'capturing natural beauty through minimalistic editing.' Not only because editing can take a long time to find the blend of settings, but because the world around us is already so beautiful and is often taken for granted.
